It usually takes around 5 days in our laboratory, but check with your dentist when they can get you booked back into the surgery.

How often should I replace my mouth guard with a new one?

You should replace your mouth guard as soon as it becomes to feel too loose or uncomfortable/tight. Either of these would imply that your teeth have shifted and the mouth guard may no longer be providing optimal protection.

Your mouth guard should be a fairly tight but still comfortable fit. If it’s uncomfortable tight or too loose you will need to contact your dentist about a replacement as your teeth may have shifted and the mouth guard may no longer be providing optimal protection.
